Due to the demise of "Scout Post" the group now has a shortfall of about £1200.
To reduce this deficit it has been agreed to run a "Cream Tea" fun event on Saturday 27th from 2.00pm till 4.00pm.
Included in this event will be a raffle, tombola, games, book fare which should suit all age groups.
The support we need at the moment is the following.
1 - Donations of books
These can be handed in at the halls on meeting nights
Mondays 6 to 7pm (Beavers)
Thursdays 6.30 till 8.00pm (Cubs)
Fridays 7.30-9.00pm (Scouts)
and Sunday Morning 9.30 to 11.00am on the 21st February 2010.
2 - Home Baking for the Cake and Candy stall.
To be handed in on Friday 26th Feb 7.30 till 9.00pm (Scout Meeting)
Items to be priced if possible.
3 - Items that can be used for the Tombola Stand.
Please circulate this information round your friend and family. We need all the support we can get.
Note - The monies raised will be shared with the charity "Help for heroes"
who help in the support of injured Armed Forces personnel.
