The 114th Morningside Scout Group has three active sections, from the youngest, the Beavers, through the Cubs to the Scouts. The Group is partnered with the South Morningside Explorer Scout Unit (SMESU).
The group is sponsored by Fairmilehead Parish Church and meet in its church halls.
Halls are to the rear of the church.
Our programmes are flexible with a wide range of activities adapted of the needs of the young people in our local community. Our activities are based on the interests of the young people with an emphasis on useful skills and service to others. Many activities make use of the outdoors theme that have a spirit of adventure and a challenge. Considering the problems faced by young people today, Scouting has a far greater application than ever before. |
